RV refrigerators are unlike home refrigerators — they use an absorption cooling cycle driven by heat (propane or electric element) rather than a compressor. When they fail, most general appliance technicians have no idea how to diagnose them. We've serviced hundreds of these units and know their failure modes inside and out.
Common issues we see: cooling units failing due to crystallization in the system (often after years of operation), control board failures causing intermittent operation, and propane valve issues preventing proper cycling. If your fridge won't get cold, don't replace the whole unit before having us diagnose it.
